The game's windows version does not work properly with stock proton, the screen will stay black and/or in-game cinematics won't play correctly.
The proton fork proton-ge-custom is highly recommended.
When using Proton-5.9-GE-6-ST, the game runs perfectly fine like it would on Windows.
Most of this is irrelevant as the game will get a native Linux Client in a few days anyways, just wanted to put this out here in case someone wants to play immediately.
