Steam saying it's running but no window shows.
Tried all three options (DX11, DX12, Vulkan) and no difference. Also tried switching to 6.3-8 with no difference.

At startup Steam asks if the game should run with DirectX-11, DirectX-12 or Vulkan.
Both DirectX versions work fine!
But ironically Vulkan gets me an error window:
The global shader cache file 'Z:/home/.../steamapps/common/The Orville - Interactive Fan Experience/WindowsNoEditor/Engine/GlobalShaderCache-SF_VULKAN_SM5.bin' is missing.
Great experience.
Worked great out of the box with proton.

Works perfectly out of the box
There didn't seem to be any multiplayer servers in the list; not sure if it's a Proton bug or if there's just nobody running servers. Either way, was unable to test multiplayer for that reason.
Seemed to run reasonably well with a mix of low and ultra settings (in particular: left textures and anti-aliasing at ultra, set the resolution of the outside world to full, and enabled NPCs and animated screens; dropped everything else to low).

protontricks dotnet40 win7 dxvk was able to get running ws able to walk around ship, push a few buttons but that was about it. Any selection I picked there was no other crew members.

Runs nice and smooth out of the box with 3.16, got black screen with 4.2
