Save games are not synced with Steam Cloud, and located in the game directory. Removing the game will remove your local saves.
Tested on 0.90.0. Version 0.91.0 might fix some of the issues listed here.

To my experience the games native version runs properly. One has to set an environment variable though. And sometimes workaround network issues. Details:
Startup command explanantion:
- The games 'internal' server (required for SinglePlayer) does not start, if the
libicu
packet on your system is on version 70+. Hence the startup command sets an environment variable to disable localization (not affecting game-play). (By now this should be an issue for all Linux users). - Additionally it can be combined with
prime-run
to run it on the dedicated GPU. Both GPUs work just fine.
In LW version 0.90.X there are SEVERE networking bugs (on all platforms), these can prevent you from reaching the main-menu or properly connecting to any (even the internal) server.
- Playing requires a network connection (not internet). Since loopback is ignored.
- Related, sometimes one has to force server and or client to use
IPv4
orIPv4_DualStack
, by editingconfig.succ
and orsettings_master.succ
(text-files).
It is however LogicWorlds goal to have all the network and the ICU bug fixed in the next major version 0.91. Then it really can be used on any systems without change.
If you run into launch (or other) issues, you can ask the (Discord) community of Logic World, up to this point every launch issue could be solved.
Native Version runs out of the box. Constant 240 fps at max settings. No crashes or stutter.
