Audio seems to skip sometimes on pipewire/pipewire-pulse
Frequent stuttering, fixable by following reddit thread mentioned in other reports: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/t5xrho/dxvk_state_cache_for_fixing_stutter_in_apex/
Seems to be fully supported now

Crackling only occuring sometimes, and not clear why
on bspwm, game would not start whatsoever unless the desktop the game was set to launch at (^4 in this case) was focused before it launched.
Occasional ping spikes to 200 coupled with severe packet loss (has happened once every session the past few days, each session 2-3 hours), unlikely to be my own network since other games are absolutely fine, but might just be routing to EA's servers, or even more likely EA's servers themselves.
Vulkan Shader Generation
Shader gen takes extremely long, multiple hours, even though I am running the game on an NVMe SSD. Consider that when you want to play right after an update. I have not tried skipping it.
After latest update, EAC loading screen appears as normal -- game blackscreens afterwards

Occasionally, will have extremely low FPS (the same occurs on Windows), requiring a restart
Crashes extremely often on launch (black screen). Basically a dice roll, but once it's running it's usually perfectly fine.
Some old threads elsewhere have mentioned that -nojoy
launch option might prevent certain crashes.
Ran pretty much flawlessly, didn't even need to mess around with any in-game settings.
Runs wonderfully.
Steam Overlay doesn't work in-game in spite of Steam Overlay being enabled globally and for this game in particular.
Great overall, controls on PS4 controller work great as well as on keyboard & mouse
Uplay crashes
Not worth anyone's time, for even when it is able to launch at all, you're still limited to the offline practice modes for what is essentially a purely online competitive title. L

Certain settings would disappear until I played a multiplayer game, might be a game issue
typical dxvk shader cache issues
Requires you to restart the game (to install Denuvo anticheat) in order to play multiplayer. Works alright.
Other people's performance issues might be due to using a high polling rate mouse(?) I did not test mine, but will eventually. Avg fps for me was fine (~60fps) even on high settings.

High polling rate mouse (ca. 1000hz) is effectively unplayable with freezing whenever you move your mouse. I was unable to change polling rate due to hardware limitations (xhci-hcd
and not wanting to downgrade all my USB ports to function as 2.0), so I have to use a cheaper, low polling rate mouse for this particular game to run well.
