Crashes after logging in
After "Logging in" message, the unity crash report appears and the game freezes.
Proton-5.9-GE-5-ST GloriousEggroll
Slight lag when entering in-game menu (modules). Might be caused by slow HDD.

After the Circus event update, some of the weapon models (and who knows what else) are missing or broken, specifically front half of LeMat pistol, front half and stock of Carbine 1865 and the front half of Derringer Pennyshot.
At first I didn't even have all the sounds added in the event update (shredder ambience, new zombie shouts, ballon pops, subsonic sounded weird) and after fiddling with files and steam integrity I was eventually able to at least get the sounds (complete redownload did not help, had to delete .pak files at random then let integrity redownload).
Pressing Z (build menu) crashes the game, making it rather unplayable as you can't place stuff down.
Very much playable, except for very few random crashes which might just be caused by the game itself.
VKD3D_CONFIG=force_static_cbv PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 gamemoderun %command% --nologo --waitforpreload
Switch to DirectX12, Vulkan has worse performance.
I can get into menu but from there I get crashes
I can get into menu but the game crashes the moment I enter Tutorial. The Sucession mode has a video tutorial which also crashes the game.
Once right after entering Succesion gamemode for the first time the game ignored clicks and key presses.
With Experimental I was able to fully enjoy my first play-through of the Succesion gamemode (and win!).
No bigger stutters or any glitches, no frequent crashing on either medium or high graphics.
Crashed after ~90 minutes with Xid (graphics) error - which happens often on this setup even with native games like Dota
Somehow it works, maybe because I played the closed beta. The EAC would visibly load (there is a EAC logo and loading bar when starting the game) and let me in without issues as long as I was using Steam's Proton and not custom one like Glorious Eggroll where the loading bar would turn red and won't let me past it.
This game does have EAC, while it somehow let me past it, there might be no guarantee it will once the full game releases.

You need to either force Proton or switch to Public Beta, the main version does not contain linux executables while being marked as Linux to Steam so it tries running it. Public Beta contains Linux build and it's running flawlessly.
Switching to Proton Experimental and it runs flawlessly, without experimental I couldn't enter the game from menu (create a new save).
