No longer runs after OpenXR update
Once again, Nvidia's incompetency and programming department full of monkeys makes OpenXR games require an AMD card. Thanks!
The bottom of the screen is cut off slightly when maximized, making Time Theorem management slightly irritating. Not sure if this is a bug on Windows or not.
Runs fine as long as you disable the news ticker. There's a very specific news tick that uses a lot of zalgo characters and it slowed my entire computer down a lot.
Same OpenXR Loader + -203 error everyone else with an Nvidia card gets
After switching to an AMD card, everything works completely fine. Thanks NVIDIA, very cool.
Had to run Steam in Firejail with a specific configuration to get multiplayer to work
Installed the 2022 C++ redist by renaming and swapping the game exe with the installer exe instead of using protontricks
Delete or rename this folder to prevent a Media Foundation crash in scenes with the new item spawner H3VR/h3vr_Data/StreamingAssets/TutorialVideo
Scenes such as RotR have noticable slowdown, but this may be the case on Windows as well
Launches, but does not open in VR view
Awful crashing issues makes VR unplayable, Native isn't any better due to missing tons of features and being full of it's own bugs
Seems to be a problem with Pulseaudio and VR in general, but randomly the the game will start with horrible audio static and requires running pulseaudio -k in a terminal
Horrible, frequent crashing only in VR
RADV_PERFTEST=rt %command%
Very noticable repeating due to low FPS
Large squares around objects
Abysmal FPS, I don't expect lots of frames with an RX 6600 but it's around 1FPS
The Linux Native version is unusable due to misusage of raw OpenGL calls in Unity, the game is a buggy mess otherwise
-DoNotAutoLoadHome
The game loves to steal window focus for absolutely no reason during startup, and this has the potential to completely lock up the desktop environment and require restarting the whole system
Game runs like crap no matter what system you use, including on Windows, it's only moderately usable with AMD X3D CPUs
There are lots of bugs, but the game is a buggy mess no matter what platform you play on
Depending on what region you're from, sessions will be unacceptably laggy, but this is a universal issue not exclusive to Linux
You can technically play this game fine, but it's in an extremely rough state, no matter what platform you're on, and the Linux version is doubly neglected. I have to play the game and tolerate the bugginess, I've got personal obligations, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else in the state it's in.
Quickloading will uncommonly crash the game, but these persist through restarts, so no progress is lost
Quickloading will rarely crash, but quicksaves persist through restarts, so no progress is lost
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% -dx12
Randomly, when pausing, the audio will completely disappear and require a restart, not sure if it's a bug on Windows as well
