New Features: Profiles and Preferences
November 8, 2019More new features for ProtonDB! Today marks the release of contributor profile pages. If you've seen a helpful report and wondered if they had advice on other games, you can now view all contributions a user has made by clicking the n reports
link near the left of a report.
If you're logged in and your game library is public, these reports will also be separated into two lists - those in your library and those not.
Out of respect for privacy, note that reports are attributed to your Steam nickname (not your username). Also, your Steam ID is not your ID on ProtonDB, nor is it included within data exports or any data the site loads to render reports or profile pages. Some of you have asked not to be known even by your Steam nickname, so there's now a Preferences section on your profile page where you can enter a different one.
More to come soon!
In other news, a fresh version of Proton (4.11-8) has landed including vkd3d and Direct3D 12 support!
