The game runs perfectly smooth with no issues, I never had it dip below 120 FPS on maximum settings, even in complex scenes.
I used the same workaround as Kerosyn to upgrade from Uplay to Ubisoft Connect: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6637#issuecomment-1516617239
Game always launches in windowed mode. Maximizing it to fullscreen works fine
The installer workaround is a little annoying, but not difficult and only has to be done once.
Steam doesn't detect that the game has stopped running properly because Ubisoft Connect keeps running, so you'll have to click "Stop" in Steam to force it to exit.

By default, the game comes with a very old version of Uplay that cannot connect to the Ubisoft servers to update, preventing the game from launching. To fix this, I had to follow the workaround described here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6637
- Download Ubisoft Connect installer
- Place it in steamapps/commmon/Trackmania Turbo/InstallerResources
- Verify integrity of game files
- Edit the install script (steamapps/commmon/Trackmania Turbo/install.vdf)
- Replace "UplayInstaller.exe" with "UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe"
The game now installs the latest version of Ubisoft Connect by default and works normally.

Crashes when switching tracks, going back to the menu or selecting new tracks.
- Framerate limit 60 FPS
- GPU at 1000 MHz
- CPU at 10 W
Game gets stuck on exit and I have to press "Abort game" to close it. Other than that, it seems to work perfectly.

Works like a charm with ubisoft connect (uplay), (latest version installed from lutris), runs out of the box
Driving Force GT have issues with pedals
Runs pretty much perfectly.
Like other Nadeo titles, this game has issues when alt tabbing out of the game while it's in fullscreen mode (at least on Sway WM). Recommend running in borderless windowed instead.
Disabling ubisoft overlay seems to improve performance.
As long as the user is comfortable downloading and using protontricks from a terminal, everything plays smoothly.
It's required to install Uplay before playing. This will update to Ubisoft Connect on first launch. Command: protontricks 375900 uplay
The Uplay crash issue others are reporting seems to have been resolved, I didn't have to do anything for the game to work properly.
Works perfectly after disabling uPlay overlay
Game will crash if you don't disable the uPlay overlay

Crash after start Uplay

After I've disabled the U-Play overlay the game worked flawlessly

I had to register to Uplay and link uplay to steam. The game crashed after intro. To avoid this , start the game and wait for it to crash. Then launch uplay with the tiny icon in the "Wine System Tray" window and UNCHECK "Enable in-game overlay for supported games" in "General settings" menu. Its working fine.

The Game seems to launch normally and starts playing the intro, but crashes after a few seconds, because of Uplay interfering.

Everything worked fine

Would not work with nvidia 396 it required 410 and, gnutls, corefonts. Steam controller working! Required to install libnvidia-gl-410:i386 (sudo apt install libnvidia-gl-410:i386) for steam to start after updating to 410.

Uplay crashes

Uplay not working

The game requires Uplay. Uplay crashes on start.
