Ran terminal command to fix sound crackling
Terminal Command used to fix audio crackling: pw-metadata -n settings 0 clock.force-quantum 2048
Command works for other games with same audio crackling issue. Command is not persistent after system shutdown/reboot and will need to be re-ran to take effect again.
Proton 7.0-5 Is still broken for this game, does not run on any version of proton that i have tested, including Proton GE.
Crashes almost instantly
Works only on Proton 5.13, Even then it crashes depending on what country you pick.
Dont try this until it gets fixed, waste of time.

Even with all this problems you can play it and still have fun. Depends how much this problems affects you.
Game is crashing every time when i press Play on Steam with Proton 5.0-9
Music is crackling, tried everything now in game music is muted. Sounds are OK
When you zoom out far away FPS drops, and game is lagging.
Crashed 2 times in 10 hr play. But you always have autosave ready so it not big of a deal
Unlike many other games, this one insisted on starting in my side screen until I used xrandr to set my primary screen. FWIW it runs fine in 1200x1920
Game plays a little clunky, performance gets better with no ESYNC and diabling D3D11
Crackling went away by selecting no D3D11
Game is slow in panning and zooming
