Works out of the box
Crashed instantly for me on Proton 7.0-5
Unhappy with window focus loss
Crashes out after losing window focus. So, not entirely impossible to play, but not really usable. For example, with i3wm and multiple monitors it will die the moment you accidentally mouse over another window, due to i3's focusing behaviour.
Screen flashes briefly whenever returning to the level selection, which might be an emulation bug but has no effect on gameplay.
Game started and ran without intervention – didn’t experience the blank screen requiring a click that other reports mention, running Proton 7.0-5.
The sound effects when running the simulated device are not always timed perfectly, but this is likely an issue on Windows as well and doesn't affect enjoyment of the game.
2160p and 144Hz worked flawlessly out-of-the-box. Framerate didn't dip, so no idea about VRR.
Starts to a blank screen and requires clicking to continue loading. If left alone, the game will crash after around 10 seconds.
Tested on Wayland - runs on Xwayland. This game respects the Xwayland primary monitor set through xrandr
.
Plays perfectly
On startup it shows a black screen and won't do anything until you click.
Didn't work
Running from console the only error bits I could locate were the following: ERROR: ld.so: object '/home/dmytro/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.
Works perfectly!
Tested on Proton 6.3-6
Runs perfectly!
