No issues with controls, but it did not show Steam Deck icons despite being verified. My experience was Xbox icons.
Played through the game, 100%, on Steam Deck and it went smoothly. Performance stayed at 60fps and there weren't any other issues.
Aiming at a specific targets when being swarmed by a big group is awkward with handheld controls, versus keyboard+mouse, but this isn't caused by running on Steam Deck or Linux.
