Good game, subpar multiplayer experience due to crashing, playable single player but be aware of crashes when visiting menus
Later parts of the game, near the end and DLC, FPS can tank from 50 down to 30 or 29. Be wary you may need to turn down some settings for it to be playable in those areas. Otherwise, most of the game is perfectly fine.
Guaranteed crash when playing for 40min - 1 hour mark, every single time. The crash seems to happen later the less frequent you visit menus with videos (such as skills / cutscenes).
If you are playing coop, expedition modes in Nioh does not save until you finish the mission, which could take upwards of 30 min - 1 hr each. If you crash, all the progress will be lost, pretty frustrating. You are forced to speed run missions.
Most areas I can reach 50 - 60 FPS, with Texture & Effects High, Rendering Scale 60%, and keeping all other settings low with no changes to the steam settings. Like mentioned above, later areas can see massive FPS dips. Multiplayer is good, until it crashes. Single player crashes too but autosaves during mission so it is not nearly as bad.
Most recent game update broke Steam Deck support. Will only be a black screen.
Alledgedly the developers are aware, but may take a while for a fix to come out.
