Using the Windows build with Proton, alt-tab bricks the game. (not an issue with the Linux beta)
Would recommand the Linux beta (if you're fine with a text disclaimer being added on-screen) in Steam: right-click Inscryption, then select Properties. Find the Betas tab and enter the code “mealwormsigil”.
