Proton 9.0-4 and 8.0-5 work, but the game crashes every few minutes

Set display resolution to 1280x720 for widescreen, otherwise it's 4:3.
Game doesn't last more than ~5 minutes. Save and restart the game after every autosave or it'll crash.
The launch options were tested in multiple combinations with multiple versions of proton (all options were suggested by other protondb reviews). Every time the game crashed, I tweaked the settings, hoping for a better result. Apparently this game has issues under Windows as well. Proton 5 and 8 were also tested as per suggestions on other reviews (default was 9.0-4)

I used Sturmlocke config down below, the game runs great start to finish.
Will freeze from time to time, in title screen or in game.
It can be finished if you rely on quitting and loading after each checkpoint. It will freeze after some time playing, so long, uninterrupted sessions are out of the table.

Runs great ootb with Proton 5.13-4.

In windows 10 i couldn't play this game because the resolution option in the launcher it's impossible to set it, it's just a blank field. However in Proton it just works.
