Texts are a bit small
Game works perfectly, except for videos.
Video cutscenes don't work (black screen) but they can be skipped.
Alt-tab does not work in fullscreen mode (at least in Linux Mint Cinnamon), however it works fine in windowed and borderless mode.
Completed all races and tried out every single player game mode, no crashes.
Performance is good at 1080p/60Hz with a mix of medium/high graphics settings. Maxing out settings causes the game to lag and the video card to overheat.
Used Logitech Gamepad F310, which was detected automatically, keyboard controls also work fine.
Online multiplayer untested.

Videos like the intro or unlock videos need it to work.
Tried running with GE's proton, it showed a weird bug in which, after some minutes of play, a "fatal error" window popped up and then the game would be toast, only reinstalling fixed it.

Unknown(2+ hours with Proton)Unknown(< 1 hour with Proton)i'm not overly comfortable giving this a "platinum" rating, however disregarding a slight dip in expected performance (within expectations i'd say though, never seen it on windows to compare) and that it won't use my g27 steering wheel (combined pedals, steering won't actually work) it does seem to run fine, I was surprised to see i had to dip a few settings below the normal, but the overall video quality was not actually bad. ran happily after settings adjustments. I Think this game is viable of whitelisting at a glance, all problems are game related, not some proton/steam misbehaviour. although i "played for less then a hour". I did actually do a few races, messed with the customisations etc... no indications of any faults.
