Native client has issues reading keyboard inputs, forced the game to boot through Proton and that got rid of the issue.

Native verions doesn't read keyboard inputs. Inputs though a controller binding, the onscreen keyboad or a bluetooth keyboard were not read. Booting through Proton fixed.

To be clear, the game runs flawlessly on its native Linux client, but if, for some reason, you launch it through proton it also works flawlessly
