Installs and runs with zero issues. I did disable the Steam Overlays (always do this) and forced the Compatibility mode to use Proton Experimental.

The game has a Legacy mode, but I haven't tried it.

Runs perfectly in 16:9 mode.

The reviews actually show this doesn't run worth crap on modern Windows so Linux seems to be the preferred way to play these days.

Just like Commandos Behind Enemy Lines, you will need Proton 3.16-9 to run this game, otherwise, game will crash on startup. No tweaks needed.

Start mission and in-game mechanics worked flawlessly but video are not played in the beginning of the missions. Probably due that it needs a codec (videos are compressed with Cinepak Video). Anyway, videos are just for historical context, so are not mandatory to follow the game.
