On a 1920x1080 monitor part of the game was displayed in the top left corner and the rest of the screen was black. Most of the gameplay area was not visible making it unplayable in fullscreen.
As a workaround set the game to play in windowed mode (non-resizeable, 1280x720).
There are no resolution options in the menu besides switching from fullscreen/windowed mode.
Crashed twice randomly in The Spider God DLC. No crashes during the rest of the game.
You may have to quit and restart levels because you are unable to progress due to glitches, for example you'll be frozen in place or switches can't be interacted with (this happened around 5 times in total). Also lots of minor (and sometimes funny) animation glitches.
These are not Proton related, the game is also buggy in Windows.
Completed full playthrough, had to force use of Proton Experimental or 7.0-3 to get graphics to display (otherwise just a black screen with sound).
Keyboard + mouse and gamepad controls both work great.

Significant slowdown at points, but still mostly playable. Windows original wasn't exactly well-optimized either, but this is worse.
