Works fine with Proton GE, no other steps taken.

On any Linux system other than Steam OS, this game initially installs as a native game, even though Steam doesn't list this game as having a native binary. The native version is borked and you must manually force Proton to be used. This is handled automatically on the Steamdeck, however. I simply used the latest stable Proton as of the time of this review and it worked perfectly.
Some reviews indicate using cloud saves while offline may cause the game to crash. I have not encountered this as I am almost always online. However, ensure you have a strategy should you want to play offline, such as logging out of said cloud account before attempting to play offline.

Game doesnt launch properly, it only has sound. Black screen.
Tried to lauch using Heroic Games Launcher from Epic games store. Tried different proton verstions, but always have black screen with sound
If you're signed in with Rumpus for save syncing, the game will crash unless you're on WiFi whenever it tries to sync, even in Steam Offline Mode.
Installed via Heroic Games Launcher (Legendary), using Glorious Eggroll's Proton fork. Game ran great and experienced no issues.

The native linux version failed to launch for me. Running through GE seems to work fine, but only in offline mode with no cloud saves.

Game sits on a windowed black screen and must be force killed
Game is now unplayable via Epic Games on Lutris. Also this is not listed on Steam as a native Linux game. This needs to be corrected on Protondb.
