Stuck at "running install script"
Tried changing Proton version and downloading the xlive files. No change.

You need to patch Microsofts Games for Windows Live out ot this game.
- Go to desktop mode
- Download: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/576-xliveless/
- Unpack the file
- Copy the xlive.dll and xlive.ini to the main game directory (next to Republic Heroes.exe)
- Switch back to gaming mode
- Enjoy
The game will show a message that the user needs to be logged in to Games for Windows Live for achievements.
You can confirm this screen by using the touch screen, press "Steam + dpad right" or "Guide + dpad right" on external controllers.
The games does default to English text and voice output. If the game supports your native language you have to switch this manually in the in-game settings.
Uhm, there is no "Online Multiplayer" maybe because Games for Windows Live was manually removed from the game(?)
The game does not properly quit upon exiting it. You need to force quit it from within the Steam interface. (Press B)
https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/576-bulletstorm-xlivedll/ copy the dll to game folder

Launch the .EXE with Wine Program Loader instead of luanhing from Proton which crashes the game.
Crashes while loading menu very annoying.
Curser in game flickers when moved.
In order to run the game go to User/Steam/game name/ and find the.EXE file in the local files tab. Than select the .EXE and launch with wine Program Loader.

Works perfectly out of the box (played the whole game).
As on Windows: You have to download https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/576-bulletstorm-xlivedll/, extract the xlive.dll (Bulletstorm).zip archive and copy the xlive.dll and xlive.ini files from the extracted xlive.dll (Bulletstorm) folder to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Star\ Wars\ The\ Clone\ Wars/. Games for Windows Live achievements can no longer work.

Game doesn't install
When I hit install it installed instantly but when I launched nothing came up so I checked the game files and there was barely any files which I don't know why.
Workaround required
You have to download https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/576-bulletstorm-xlivedll/?do=download&r=2459&confirm=1&t=1&csrfKey=b17731f25b5b6663e8a6ab8e1e1ce14b, extract the xlive.dll (Bulletstorm).zip and copy the xlive.dll and xlive.ini to ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/32420/pfx/drive_c/windows/system32/ and ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/32420/pfx/drive_c/windows/syswow64/. You have to rename the Republic Heroes.exe file in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Star\ Wars\ The\ Clone\ Wars/ to RepublicHeroesLauncher.exe.

Working Download Link: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/576-bulletstorm-xlivedll/ (click on "Download this file")

Patched xlive and rename launcher as previously advised did the trick.

Still borked. I couldn't download the mentioned files.

I got it working! You have to rename the Republic Heroes.exe file in ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Star\ Wars\ The\ Clone\ Wars/ to RepublicHeroesLauncher.exe.

Doesn't start at all, always just crashes without an error message

Doesn't install Games for Windows and just dies

Fails to even start, suspect "Gamers for Windows LIVE" to be the issue.
