Game works pretty much out of the box, just might need to switch controls in-game with the touchscreen
Besides the intro story video not displaying, the game runs flawlessly out of the box.
The game has a short intro story video that plays when you begin a new game. You can watch the video on YouTube, or on your computer by opening it from the game's install directory:
/home/[username]/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Elminage Gothic/Intro.wmv

Other than the inability to alt-tab, and the opening cinematics being a tad choppy, the game runs flawlessly.

Alt-Tab doesn't work.
Opening cinematics slightly choppy, but skippable and do not affect gameplay.
Minor crackling with sound effects.
Minor stutters with initial cutscene.
As RPGHiro indicated, works with minor tweaks. Ran the following and was able to play game for 2+ hours. Did not manually set WINEARCH=win32

WINEARCH=win32 + winetricks wmp9 quartz devenum (works w/o quartz but FMVs stutter). had to use winetricks outside of Lutris otherwise wmp9 installer wasn't displayed
Fails to load intro video files with "prMovie::Open - Unable to connect pins". Might be a codec error. Tried renaming and deleting the video files in the game's folder, but no dice. Tried installing video codecs with winetricks, but the problem persists.
UnknownGame freezes after opening logo, then crashes after a few minutes. with this error: "PrMovie::Open - Unable to connect pins"
