The text can be EXTREMELY SMALL on Steam Deck, and it is the same size on Windows, which is to say, it is difficult to read on desktop (27inch 4K monitor), and near impossible to read on Steam Deck OLED.
I wouldn't recommend it for Steam Deck. Linux, absolutely fine, but Steam Deck suffers from the fact that the in-game text is at times too small on a large monitor, and they don't scale it properly for a small monitor like the Steam Deck.

Works good despite the sometimes too small text and the performance tanking for a specific attack
text in general can be quite small
the final boss has a fire attack that makes the FPS tank hard, it might be a general problem but I only played on teh deck so I only saw it there
I used experimental but only because I run all games in experimental if they don't have an official version.

Runs out of the box except the minor issues listed above. Slightly hard to read some enemies due to the small deck screen.
60fps ingame cap on oled deck
Text are quite small on the steam deck screen, no option to change size.
Resolution is set by default to 1920 x 1080 requiring to change it on the menu. Doesn't support 1280 x 800, only 1280 x 720
Touching steam deck screen would make the game unable to read movement inputs requiring a restart.
Penultimate boss has a fire wave attack that would tank frames down to 40ish. During endless mode, when there are alot of mobs and effects on the screen the game would slow down to 30ish fps for a bit until they are killed off.
Vram usage was significantly high, after 2-3 runs the game would be at around 5.5 - 6 gb vram, ram usage was at around 10gb. Might cause a crash after a while but 2.5 hours of gameplay is pretty stable.
