The game can be installed with the default settings. And the game itself is great.
Don't use different drivers for GPU and Vulkan. I had GPU (AMD) drivers from mesa, while my vulkan drivers were official open source drivers from AMD. The game was freezing at the same scene at the beggining. When I changed vulkan driver to mesa vulkan driver, the game was running smooth.
