To crouch and throw, you can either pull up the on screen keyboard or do what I did and map the back buttons to C and G.
Battery Performance:
Lowering the max frame rate and refresh rate can help while not degrading appearance that much.
Aside from remapping buttons to crouch and throw, everything ran perfectly "out of the box."

Played through the whole game without any issues
Game works out of the box without issues, including the videos. On my setup at 1440p resolution maxed settings got around 140fps.
