yep

As expected from a GameMaker game, it's really easy to run on Proton, and would recommend even running on Steam Deck.

Fullscreen and windowed worked perfectly fine, only issue was whenever I switched workspaces or put my cursor outside of the game, it'd turn into a black screen and I wouldn't be able to play the game afterwards when running Proton Experimental, after switching to Proton-GE, the latter issue seems to have fixed itself but the black screen persists.
As I've only played this on Hyprland, I can't say whether it's a Hyprland-specific issue or if it spans across other desktop environments or window managers.

do note i have a dual monitor setup running on xorg x11, had no issues at all playing with gamepad or keyboard+mouse game detects both and no issues on fullscreen either, played from start to finish on linux using both kb+m and gamepad without any game bugs or input problems. definitely reccomend!

No input or visual issues on KDE with Wayland

Keyboard did not work at all. Hyprland/Wayland refused to give the game keyboard focus, any keypresses just went to the steam client in the background, or any other app that got clicked except the game.
The game was still playable with controller.
This was tested in the demo, I won't be buying the game without working keyboard controls.

somewhat
runs at stable 60 fps the majority of the time, but will drop to around 40-45 if:
- you're on the first phase of one of the bosses, check "disable 3D effects" in settings to fix
- you have too much uncollected XP. low spec mode won't help, you just have to hope you get a magnet. i've only reached overdrive 2 and i've started occasionally experiencing this multiple times in a run, so i assume it'll only get more frequent at higher levels

Avoid playing with multiple displays set up on sway. When I tried it, the game didn't understand where my mouse was and was unplayable as a result. resetting my display config to use only a single monitor allowed me to play again.
This may not be a problem on x11, but make sure to use only single monitor configurations on sway, you may have mouse related problems otherwise.

It was great a couple of days ago, had a blast, got achievements. Then the mouse got stuck in the top left corner.
Can't play it, because the mouse is stuck on the top left. feelsbadman
Works perfectly
Runs just like it does on Windows. I did playtesting for this game, and was there to report if there were any bugs in the Linux build. Didn't notice any. If any issues come up in the future, it will be relayed to the developer.
