The latest version of the game is out of the box for steam deck. It supports the controller now. The text is a bit of small and only conversations text can be set to big in game settings.
Only issue so far is I haven't found how to switch techniques in combat with the controller mapping, I usually tap the screen to switch to mouse input to mouse over the selection to get the pop-up.

Please disregard my previous report, the issue i had must have been entirely separate from the game itself. Maybe a steam cloud issue, or maybe the installer downloads something fro internet & couldn't…
Anyway. it works splendidly.
Could not launch it at all
Tried multiple proton version (including the latest GE), i could not get a game window to open. I did not try much else and lacked the time to properly investigate what went wrong, i will amend this report next time I try.
The Demo is out of the box for the Steam Deck, though controller is not supported, and hope the font size could be enlarged in the future release.
