Works without any issues

If you tab out of the game it might crash
Crashing, Audiobugs and Flickering all gone when using older proton version, 4.2-9, works flawlessly

Doesn't really work. Unplayable.
Game starts but crashes after 5-10 seconds or so.
Adding a launch parameter "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" solves the crash problem but introduces major graphical errors and glitches, which renders the game unplayable (invisible enemies, invisible cursor, invisible towers, models are twitching and misplaced and the textures are missing or broken)
No idea what to do next. I heard about installing "d3dcompiler_43" but how does one install that thing on Linux? It's not precisely enough instructed.

No music. White screen after a game session starts.

Game runs good after switching to older Proton version

dxvk installed (using junkstore)
half rate teyture rendering had to be deaktivated
runs great

The game just doesn't work and always fails in one way or another no matter which Proton is used.
On newer versions of Proton that are above 5, including 9 beta and Experimental, the game will simply crash out after the intro videos, which play with no audio. On Hotfix, it still crashes after the intro videos, but you do get audio for them.
On older versions such as 4.x the game will sucessfully load, although there will be no audio, you can navigate around the menus and start a game at which time you'll get the HUD on screen but nothing else - a completely white screen, and again, still no audio. You can quit the game no problems or change the graphics settings and all that but none of them yield different results.

All DLCs and community levels are also working like a charm

Manual installation of DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) inside the prefix. No other changes at all.
Without installing this DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010), game crashed shortly after launching. After that, everything runs as expected.

Install "d3dcompiler_43"
IMPORTANT: In order to start the game, make sure you install first "d3dcompiler_43"
Required changing to Proton Experimental. On recommended the game window was briefly displayed and the process quite thereafter.
The game closes before reaching the main menu
Textures pixelated on newer Proton versions than 4
Windowed mode seems to improve performance a bit
Use Proton > 5, Performance will still break in from time to time, but it is absolutely playable..
Out of the box it crashes after the intro videos.
Installs and runs flawlessly out of the box.

13 FPS only. On Windows >60
No sound and white screen
The game doesn't launch whith the latest Proton release. However, it launches fine with Proton 5.13. I can access the main menu, the settings, and launch a game, but there isn't any sound. Xhen I lanch a game, I can see the HUD but the rest of the screen is white : no map, no towers, no aliens ... just HUD on a white screen.

Crashes in main menu
Heroic Launcher / epic version. Tried multiple Proton/wine version, but was unable to play the game.
Crash on start up after first launch on Proton 5.13-4. Works fine when forcing use of Proton 4.11-13.
On first time start up, it worked fine on Proton 5.13-4, then would crash on start up. Deleting the config file did not solve it. Works fine after forcing the use of Proton 4.11-13.
Runs perfect out of the box
Very unstable on my Kunbutu system with a 4K display.
Works perfectly. Did not encounter anything strange.
Game runs well on proton 5.0.5, only flaw was that I noticed some cracking sounds.
Slight crackling, nothing big, but still noticable.
Works great
Had to use proton 4.2
Works great if you use Proton 4.2
UI was oversized, so some menu options unreachable/off the screen on Proton 4.11, but 4.2 is perfect so far.

I've tested the settings menu and the first mission from Awakening. Runs great out of the box.

Game closed immediately after starting because of attached Steam Controller. Game started and ran fine after enabling Steam Input (Properties -> General -> Steam Input Per-Game Setting -> Forced On)

Work well done !

Played a couple of story missions. No issues whatsoever.

runs out of the box

No issues noted during game play.

Runs out of the box.

Runs perfectly.
