Keyboard input doesn't work.
Keyboard input doesn't work. Using Hyprland.
No issues at all.

- No keyboard input at all. Unable to press ESCAPE to access the menu to pause/save/load/exit once a new game is started.
- The keyboard does works when the game is opened (I'm able to switch window and workspace) but the game doesn't receive any input.
- Switching keyboard layout doesn't fix the problem.
- No controller that could interfere with the input is plugged-in.
- Impossible to unplug and re-plug the keyboard because it's a laptop.
- The only USB device is the mouse, and even when the mouse is unplugged there still is no keyboard input.
- Tried different Proton versions : no difference.
Can't access the menu to save

Runs OOTB
Had to change from native to proton. Native installation was 0 Byte.

Runs flawlessly on SteamOS and ChimeraOS
I had my doubts, but it looks to run quite well both on my Steam Deck and my ChimeraOS Steam Machine that has an Xbox controller connected.
Runs perfectly fine
Switched to proton from native
Installs an empty linux depot by default. Have to manually switch to proton
This game is great out of a fresh install. If you like Might and Magic, this game is for you!
Works great out of the box, although I only played around with 2 factions, tried 3 big maps and played against 6 bots max

After switching windows multiple times, the game's window became black, with audio still playing
If you have a lot of units on the screen the game will slow down, but that also happens to the windows version.
Closes instantly after starting

Game disappears but seems to still be running when trying to put the game in windowed mode.
Using Steam Remote Play Together
Using Steam Remote Play Together
I had previously tried running the game with nouveau drivers and it wouldn't start. But running it with the proprietary Nvidia drivers works. The pointer seems to be slightly off which is annoying but it's not unusable. If I try to put the game in windowed mode, the window disappears entirely, but the game appears to still be running.
Crashes immediately on launch
PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%
Tried several different Proton versions, tried running with PROTON_NO_D3D11=1
but it always crashes on start up. Most frustratingly, when I turn on logs with PROTON_LOG
, the log file only contains the initial box of IDs and versions and no actual log output.
Runs flawlessly
I was experiencing a blackscreen when out of focus, which is easily fixable by refocusing the game window.

PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%
Works just fine with additional launch option

Demo ran flawlessly

I used steam's "import external game" option and ran it.
I had a crash when modifying battle volume
