Al principio con Proton-GE no me funcionaban bien los controles del mando ya que Repentance no es nativo en Linux, pero tras cambiar a Proton-9.0-4 todo ha ido perfectamente.

Works fine with any Version of Proton (on Keyboard). No matter which version of Proton used, when a Gamepad is used the Inputs will not be properly mapped (with and without steaminput).
A linux build would be highly appreciated again.

On Mint, Graphics Drivers needed to be rolled back to 5.35 in order for OpenGL to function and open the game.
It took me a long time to troubleshoot the issue, using Proton 5, I could see that Mangohud showed the game running solely on CPU at high temps and no GPU utilization. Roll back to 5.35 to restore OpenGL functionality if on Mint with an Nvidia card.

Works perfectly, even with mods. Needs to force proton or else it'll just launch afterbirth+. Have not tried online multiplayer.
Local multiplayer works fine

Xbox Series Wireless controller (with wireless dongle) shows up as two input devices: XInput and unindentified controller, making it unusable. ** Enabling Steam Input fixes this**
Mods aren't working at all on Flatpak Steam
Crashes every run on taking pickups, opening secret rooms, dying or for no particular Reason. Crashes occur very often with every comp layer: proton-GE 8, 5.13 and 6
Freezes sometimes requiring a reset. Can't continue playing after load due to controllers not mapping to correct players on load.
None of these issues are present on windows 10.

With how unstable it is regarding explosions, and with those being one of the main ways to interact with the game, it's not great.
No matter what proton version, when an explosion pushes a rock into a pit the game has a staggeringly high chance of crashing straight to steam os.
With that in mind, I really don't reccomend investing a lot of time or engery into looking for a fix like I did, because 3 months in and still I'm having to restart entire floors or run into soft locks due to this.
The only work around is if you manually exit before going into each room, or at least before bosses and using bombs.
Nicalis please fix this!

Assigned R key to quickly reset the run to one of the back buttons, it's not mapped to any controller button by default.
Explosions can randomly crash the game. Switch to proton 5.13-6 to avoid this.

Switching to Proton 5.13-6 fixes the frequent crashing and provides a great overall experience
DualShock 4 controller not detected. Xbox 360 and Switch Procon work great, though.

Crashes consistently on some explosions (maybe trapdoors), and after some boss fights if the same requirements are met each time. Quite annoying. Forces me to circumvent the situation after a crash. Crashes also makes daily runs fail, ruined my streak unfortunately.
May crash occasionally on higher versions of Proton. Switched to Proton 5.13-6 which works without any issues.

Never fun to have a crash in isaac, especially consistent ones. Can softlock you easily if a crash is caused by a trigger.
Crash on rocks falling into pits. Very annoying as many rooms and some bosses require this.
could probably get working better with tinkering.

minor increase in random crashes while fullscreen

Proton experimental crashes when moving and puzzle platforms are spawning. This can be easily observed in the Mother's Shadow sequence. you can use the debug console to get there quickly. g knife piece 1 (needed for mother's shadow fight) stage 4c (mines II) debug 10 (kills all enemies) press all yellow buttons on the floor, then go up the minecart. If there's a button on the floor or tnt barrel that spawns platforms, this is where the bug occours. May not occour in every run, but most. Confirmed to not happen when all mods are disabled. This was fixed by forcing Proton 7.0-6

After booting into a run, gameplay is pure black. Audio cues play such as music and firing tears, but the gameplay isn't visible.
Mods not working on a Flatpack install, can be worked around by manually installing steam
Runs perfectly fine out of the box!
Although Repentance DLC has dropped native support, it works perfectly through Proton without any issues.
Everytime I want to play Forgotten it crashes. E.g. Isaac works fine.

Practically no difference from Windows if you don't use flatpak steam.
Inconsistent volume on sound effects and music given my menu options. Certain sound effects will be incredibly loud regardless of volume while others are incredibly soft. Most music, even at the lowest setting, will drown out these softer sound effects, even with sound at the highest setting.
If using steam flatpak, mods will NOT load under any circumstances. Switch to a native installation of steam if your distribution has one.

For some reason Repentence worked fined on Proton Experimental on Manjaro, but on OpenSuse I could only use the 5.0-10 version of Proton as the latest, other than that it works great :)

This Windows exclusive DLC works flawlessly on Proton much like Afterbirth+ did. Works better than Antibirth ever did.
In recent versions I have occasionally crashed when an explosion goes off. Twice in bossfights with multi-event explosions and twice in those rooms where the rocks fall cascading to make a new path. The game autosaves run progress, but not room progress, so this requires you to repeat the floor. I recommend when you get a boss which requires or triggers explosions to immediately exit to menu and then continue - this will lock an autosave to your entrance into the boss fight, then a crash will continue you from there. (Unless of course you have half a heart ;)
