Recommended proton didn't work as well as forcing Proton 8.0-4. With 8.0-4 it worked perfectly. There was slight Steam popup incompatibility with whatever was recommended.

Installed with no errors. When I hit Play, the Preparing to Launch window appears for a second, then disappears. After a couple of seconds the Play button changes from Stop to Play. The game does not come up at all.
