When you boot the game, you see the first two logos and then the image becomes a test pattern image, with colour columns and static in the bottom. The game then continues this way but starts the normal menu music and sound effects. You can exit the game by pressing [ESC] then [ENTER] but cannot click anything.

Be careful about the version of Proton. The version should be 4.11-13.

It didn't run on my previous Ubuntu installation if I remember correctly, but now it works without any tweaks.
