Played the whole campaign in co-op and also the survival mode. EAC is required and works without any problems on Linux (but you need to explicitly activate EAC in the launcher options).
Game refuses to launch, unless i use this version of Proton - GE-Proton9-25
Launched using STL. At first launch I was met with a black screen that lasted almost a minute, but subsequent launches didn't have that issue.
Works brilliantly, even on ultra settings at 1440p my GPU was completely fine with it rock solid 120fps, zero dips.
The game frezes upon exiting to desktop.

Game decreased from 100-120 FPS to 40 FPS briefly a couple of times when first starting a mission. Seemed to go away after a while.
The complaints of other people seem to have been addressed now. I had no issues with anticheat, secondary installers, etc.
I have no clue what the other reports about Multiplayer and EAC are talking about. I can run with EAC and play Online.
Heavy Flickering in Fullscreen, Borderless Fullscreen works perfect.
Runs perfectly out of the Box without even selecting any Compabilitymode. EAC is installing and running without any Problems at all. Was able to join online Coop.

Other than the small audio hiccups, the game worked completely fine, without any tinkering, just running Proton Experimental.

No matter what version of proton I use, after 5 - 10 mins of playing I hear a lot of crackling noise and eventually the game frozes and I have to kill the process to get out or restart the laptop.

Runs really well, even Multiplayer with EAC works fine. The Launcher looks a bit messed up, because the start and settings button are on top of each other, but it's still possible to click both of them easily

Note: If intending to play with Mouse & Keyboard, make a custom profile that removes the gamepad - so that Steam Input does not auto-register the Steam Deck Internal Controller to override the Mouse and Keyboard's UI.
If you do, you'll be required to unmap the controller in your existing profile via gamepad bindings - so that the game doesnt detect the gamepad and will properly register the Mouse and Keyboard to show the correct UI eg F2 instead of Y to access Social in the Main Menu. To prevent Steam Input overriding all the in-game prompts as XBOX.
You may face some slowdowns considering it can be pretty detailed but its fine for me on 720p
To enable access to Online features eg Campaign Co-Op (which I have only personally tried at this stage). After a fresh download - I launched the game in Desktop Mode on first launch just to make sure if it prompts to install EAC and after doing so with a short black pop-up window similar to command prompt, it will allow me to access online modes. I have played for hours being able to play Campaign Co-Op with my friend on his Gaming PC and jumping between the two missions and completing the third mission of the game.
I saw the post before me and I was playing this game in Win11 & I thought I could try to see if online was actually not working due to EAC - but perhaps a fresh install of the game and maybe booting it into desktop mode and reinstalling it or moving back into its original install drive might fix their issue?
Le jeu crash au démarrage avec Proton8.0-3. Avec GE-Proton, le jeu fonctionne en solo. J'ai joué presque 4h. Je n'ai pas testé le multijoueurs.

I played one Team vs. Team multiplayer match from beginning to end without problems.
When the game launcher opened, I went into the settings and selected full-screen windowed, Vulkan instead of DX12, and High graphics preset minus motion blur. I enabled Easy Anti-Cheat. Once I clicked Play, it asked if I wanted to install Easy Anti-Cheat, and I said yes. It all worked just fine, and performance and visuals were good.

Just a note: Easy Anti-Cheat doesn't like lib32-amdvlk, so you need to uninstall this if you want to play online.
Multiplayer/Coop doesnt work since Kraken update (July 6, 2023) due to newer versions of EAC breaking compatibility with Proton. Was working perfectly before the update, even with EAC On.

As of Proton 8, this works for me out of the box. It did not in Proton 7. I played through the entire campaign in co-op without problems.

go to your steam library -> and install Proton easyanticheat runtime also when starting the game, at the launcher, click on the cog and check the option that you want to install easyanticheat. Dx or vulcan is working. you have to wait when you start for the first time. Please allow the game 5 min to start

When using FSR, even in Ultra settings, it has some degradations, but it's ok.
All multiplayer modes are working, maybe due to some game updates, I think.
You should use Vulkan, it may crash when using DX12. Also, performance is better. Also, EAC issues seem to be fixed and MP is working again.
