FPS locked at 45fps. TDW @ 7W, GPU @ 500MHz.
Ran command protontricks 1011190 winxp
Crashes after watching videos on phone video player, repeatable with both Proton Experimental and GE.
Startable but something is a bit broken.
Ended up with the blackscreen right after picking a path. Tried forcing experimental, Proton 8.0.1 and Proton 8.0 with no luck of getting past the black screen.

Switch Windows 10 version to Windows XP
This is an update to my older post here. Game runs perfectly only after forcing Windows XP through Protontricks, otherwise only menu will load properly
Game works fine after changing the windows version with protontricks (I used the flatpak version)
Change windows version from Windows 10 to Windows XP
This game requires changing the windows version to xp or you will not get past the character selection screen.
Install dxvk, install dotnet 45, switch to windows 10 from windows xp
During cutscenes there was a feeling that sound was recorded on a 1$ mic. No problems on Windows however
Without following mentioned steps you will get the same problem as everyone does: no textures at main menu and black screen after starting the game

Just as others mentioned, black screen shows when launching.

After selecting how you want to start your journey, the game will be stuck on a black screen.
Blank Screen after selecting the path you want to take
The game loads to the main menu screen. After selecting "Begin", the game asks how you want to start your journey. If you select either "Detective" or "Journalist" the game shows a blank screen and you are unable to play any further. This is the same even if you turn all graphics to their lowest. This was tested using Proton 5.8 Glorious Eggroll GE2-MF.
