Not all versions of space quest have the crackling.
You need to wait a few seconds for screen to load in or out for save games.
Game stutters every now and again.
Saving a game on at least one of the games was very slow.
The VGA version of Space Quest 1 doesn't load.
Tested running all games. Every one but the VGA version of Space Quest 1 loaded fine. Didn't play for more than a minute or two of each.
Some of the games are crashing.
I ran Space Quest I, IV, and V. With SQ 1, I ran through the opening sequence until the game started where Roger was standing there. I didn't know how to move him, but I could enter commands, all of which were bad guesses. In SQ V, I let it start and the intro worked fine. I quit, then went to my favorite... SQ IV. I ran it for about 5 minutes. All controls worked fine. I ran into no issues.
